A Study of Daniel - Though we may be familiar with the Sunday School version of the stories of Daniel, there is so much more to glean from the history of what God allowed Daniel and his three friends to endure. Yet they didn’t just endure, they thrived while in “enemy territory,” away from all they had known and the families they loved.
Today, we are called to also thrive while living in the territory of the enemy. Yet, it seems that we are content to simply endure. Is God’s commission for modern-day believers so very different? Let’s study to find out, while also committing to encourage one another to thrive in the moments of testing and temptation.

In this second letter, Peter affirms his previous correspondence, reminding believers that everything they need to live a godly life has been provided by our Savior. He also alerts the churches of Asia Minor about the dangers of false teaching. Yes, even in the early church, false teachers wormed their ways into churches, causing confusion and disruption to new believers and their growing faith.
We are unwise if we think that same tactic of the enemy is not still used today. Like those early churches, we need to be alert while rejoicing in all that God has provided for us to live godly lives, pleasing to Him. Join us for this important study.
