Pie Day-March 14th
-This is our church event to help prepare the 3.16 boxes. Homemade pizza and delicious deserts from our church community are an amazing addition to this time of ministry prep.
3:16 Day- March 16th
-Inspired by the gift God gave us through his Son, Jesus, and John 3:16, we deliver care-package boxes to the local schools, municipalities, and businesses around our community. We look to build up those who have supported our ministries and help to keep our community safe.
Emmaus Walk-Thursday before Easter Sunday
-Inspired by Luke 24, we take the time to walk around Centennial Park and hear from some Bible characters about how Jesus can be seen throughout their stories.
4th Floats- 4th of July
-4th of July treats and candy dispersal gives us another opportunity to love and bless our local community during the Frederick/Firestone parade.
Light in the Darkness-October 31st
-Our church meets down at Christ Park in Frederick for our annual Trunk or Treat event. We aim to provide a safe, fun, Christ-filled environment for families to bring their children on Halloween. We hope to communicate just how much God loves them through our trunks, candy dispersal, and active fellowship time.
Thanksgiving Dinner-Thursday night before Thanksgiving
-Our church family gathers to celebrate this holiday together and taste-test the newest recipes from the culinary wizards within our church body.
Giving Tree- December
-This is an active opportunity for our church body to bless our missionaries and the needy within our community during the Christmas season. Our Christmas trees within the sanctuary will be decorated with various ornaments that coordinate with certain financial and tangible gifts. Families are asked to consider going to the three, selecting ornaments, and purchasing the gifts that coordinate with their selections. Our church will then disperse these gifts for the Christmas season as a way of sharing Christ's love in a tangible way.
Christmas Choirs
-Both our vocal and bell choirs help us to celebrate the joy of Christmas with the talents God has given us. Everyone is welcome to participate in these choirs, but they are asked to attend the regular rehearsals, practice regularly, and come prepared to worship the Lord together.
